Not a UK plug and doesn't switch on! - UPDATE
Unfortunately this did not come with a UK plug as standard, and even when plugged into a suitable adaptor it refused to switch on. edit: seller did respond and offered me a full refund, so all is well.

Use this in my kitchen and it does more than enough to take the edge off when sat at your desk in one of those hot days and your PC is chucking heat out. I personally don't mind the noise but my partner has stated it is rather noisy and make it hard to hear the TV.
